Biography

Boarders were formed in 1989 in Milan with the aim to play pure Thrash Metal in best Bay Area tradition. Bands like Testament, Exodus, Metallica and especially Megadeth served as models. So you can find not only many covers of famous Megadeth songs in the discography of Boarders but the band has also an excellent reputation as a Megadeth cover band.

After releasing the demos “Bad Mistake” in 1990 and “Soft Fail System” in 1993, the band brought in 1999 their self produced debut “Rust of 99” to the market. Two years later they followed up with “All Clear Lies” and in 2002 Boarders released the live cover album “Tribute to Megadeth: Live at Metalagno”, which emphasized their love to Megadeth. With the release of “Promo 2004” Boarders made the step over the borders (nicht boarders) of Italy and signed a contract with Weathertop Productions in 2007.

With “The World hates me” Boarders present their newest and without doubt best piece to date, exclusively distributed by Weathertop Productions in partnership with Quam Libet Records. Besides an almost obligatory Megadeth cover song, “The World Hates Me” contains ten neck-breaking compositions, overflowing of killing riffs and catchy melodies.
